Vintage Oldsmobile Auto Graphics, 1955-1957

This is part of my Collection of vintage ads from Oldsmobile from 1955 to 1960. They are grouped into two pages. Here are covered the years from 1955 to 1957.

Lead by Cadillac, the late fifties show the development of more flashy design, fins and more - sometimes too much! - chrome. Twin headlights were introduced 1958. Power options became very standard on many models. V8s cranked out more horsepower than in previous years. Note that ads from the late fifties show more photo style images than in the earlier years!
