The following two cards show the 'Thunderbird Hotel' in the fifties. This image has been taken a few years earlier than the following card. We can spot a 1954 Oldsmobile, a 1954 Buick (the red car seen from the rear), two Cadillacs and a red English Jaguar XK120 coupe, a car model seen rarely in the 50's.

This card was obviously heavily retouched. Not only the flowers in the foreground, also part of the tower walls where painted, looking somewhat unrealistic. Note that the main building had been added. Late 50's cars are presented, first in the foreground is a 1957 Cadillac - shown with a cowgirl! The card itself doesn't look as appealing as the previous one, though.
