This shows a 1948 Oldsmobile model. The name of the girl was ‘Mary’ (written on the back). Most likely shot in California.

This shows a Super 88, 1952 model. We can see from the missing chrome spear, pointing upwards on the rear fender on other models, that this is an 88.
The neighborhood seems to be one of the newly built areas after the war. All housing is new.
